What is yoga:

Yoga is a great way to build strength and to become more flexible. In addition, yoga relieves stress and calms the mind. All yoga classes has a variety of students that are at different levels in their practice. Each class honors each level by providing modifications.

There are many types of yoga, but Samadhi Yoga specializes in Hatha with an Ashtanga influence.

Hatha yoga includes postural practices (asanas) and pranayama practice (breath work). Peace and serenity happen when incorporating the two elements. 

This is a gentle and slow flow where poses are held for longer breaths.

Ashtanga yoga is more active. This is typically a fast-paced and physically challenging. This a series is asanas in sets that happen in the same order. Each set begins to get more challenging.

Remember to wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely through the poses.
